Project Overview In December 2022, Optimation was selected as the preferred supplier by the Plumbers, Gasfitters and Drainlayers Board (PGDB) to design and implement a new Registry system for the inspection and certification of self-contained motor vehicles in Aotearoa (New Zealand). This project, later named the New Zealand Self-Contained Vehicle (NZSCV) Registry, was a result of an open Request for Proposal (RFP) process. Key Components The NZSCV Registry included several crucial functions: 1. **Administration of Certifying Authorities**: These entities conduct authorized inspections of motor vehicles. 2. **Management of Enforcement Agencies**: Local Councils and the Department of Conservation use the system to manage infringements. 3. **Public Search Facility**: A vehicle search function for non-authenticated members of the public. Optimation are replacing, and adding new features in the legacy system by creating new functionality piece by piece in OutSystems. In this project Optimation added the registration pathway Special Purpose Locum Tenens to MCNZ OutSystems, tmyMCNZ and Medsys. It’s just another pathway for registering doctors coming from overseas (similar to the Competent Authority pathway to registration built and released to production in May 2022). Solution: Our Wellington based development team add this SPLT application process to OutSystems so a doctor and agents for a doctor from overseas can apply online for this pathway to registration in NZ. The site collects all data required for the application process at MCNZ and makes the doctors and agents work together to complete an application. The application has doctor and agent only sections and pages which can be completed by either party. Development is done in Traditional with an external SQL database, using Outsystems easy API implemtn.

Background: JaeTRAC has an API to receive jobs requests (referrals) from insurance companies . When a referral is received, a job needs to be created by this API but we do not want to duplicate data. This has the ability to make it much more complicated to push incoming work through the workflow implemented in JaeTRAC. Solution: When receiving an insurance company referral into the system if there is a conflict between the data incoming and data that is already stored in the systems. JAETRAC uses some clever screen designs to guide the user though the process. Due to Outsystems rapid development and the abundance of existing UI widgets we were able to put this feature in quickly and economically for the customer.

Optimation has radically transformed the legacy health insurance system for Accuro Health Insurance. The system has been built using the OutSystems platform. This new system automates the majority of the business logic and business processes. This system contains the following modules: - Create new members, edit member details, add new members to existing plans, or delete members from plans - Create and edit policies and plans - Process applications for individuals - Manually or automatically underwrite applications - Create groups, sub groups and umbrella groups - Create and manage claims for Hospital and Surgical and Primary claims types - Generate payments, arrears, pro-rata calculations, and refunds for individuals and groups - Reconcile payments - Create and maintain Advisers - Generate Commission payments and pay to Advisers - Quote and Apply Portal - My Accuro Portal where members can maintain their details and create claim
