Account Sharing lets users securely grant access to their accounts through a consent-based agreement, eliminating the need to share login credentials. Account owners extend controlled, permission-driven access to trusted individuals via an explicit approval flow, available across LCM's web portal and mobile apps (iOS and Android). It addresses real-life situations requiring trusted access to another person's account without compromising security, such as assisting elderly family members and enabling parents with shared custody to manage their children's accounts, without resorting to password sharing. By replacing credential sharing with a secure consent model, Account Sharing improves security and usability. It keeps credentials private, gives owners full control over access, and reduces password-sharing risks, meeting everyday needs while raising the platform's overall security and trustworthiness.
