OutSystems Named a Top Cloud Computing Employer by Forbes Four Years in a Row

Boston and Atlanta -  07 March 2019

OutSystems, provider of the number one platform for low-code rapid application development, has been ranked one of the top 10 cloud computing employers to work by Forbes for the fourth consecutive year.

“The Forbes ranking backs up what employees have been saying for a long time – that OutSystems has a great culture, and it’s a place where people really want to work,” said Paulo Rosado, CEO of OutSystems. “Our staff is filled with innovative, smart, enthusiastic, fun people who challenge us every day. For them, it’s about more than a job. It’s about changing the world.”

OutSystems continues to grow rapidly, driven by its ongoing success helping customers build strategic, high-value software applications incredibly fast. OutSystems hired nearly 400 team members in 2018 – twice as many as in 2017. The company added hundreds of new customers, increased annual recurring revenues by a record 66 percent, and built its staff of full-time workers to over 1,000 in 2018.

The OutSystems culture has often been recognized as an important element in the company’s success. The company earned three top cloud employer awards in 2018 alone – from Glassdoor and Battery Ventures, as well as Forbes – based on its continuing dedication to core values outlined in the Small Book of the Few Big Rules. Often recognized for its exceptional customer service, OutSystems customer-first culture has led to multiple honors, including G2 Crowd’s 2019 Best Software Companies List, Top Rated Low-Code Platform on TrustRadius, and Gartner Peer Insights Customers’ Choice 2018 designations in both mobile development and high-productivity aPaaS.

The Forbes report starts with CRN’s 100 Coolest Cloud Computing Vendors, then looks to Glassdoor for the number of employees who would recommend the company to a friend and the percentage of employees who approve of their CEO.
