More than a thousand customers have spoken, ranking OutSystems #1 in customer satisfaction in the G2 Winter 2026 Grid Report for Low-Code Development Platforms. OutSystems received the highest customer satisfaction score of 99 out of 100, beating the platform giants and far outpacing a crowded field of low code and AI app gen vendors.
Out of 1,117 reviews, 98% of users rated OutSystems 4 or 5 stars. 93% believe the platform is headed in the right direction. And when asked if they'd recommend OutSystems to a colleague, 92% said yes.
The report’s customer satisfaction ranking is based on user ratings on a set of subcategories. OutSystems scored 93% for ease of use, beating the category average of 89%. Application deployment hit 92%, lifecycle management reached 91%, and platform compatibility came in at 90%.
The trusted platform for continuous innovation
These accolades reflect the commitment to our customers’ long-term success that has always defined how we do business. We are dedicated to helping them innovate through big technical shifts and transformations from mobile, to cloud, and now to AI and agentic.
IT leaders, architects and developers bring high standards and expectations to their chosen platforms. It means so much to earn such high customer satisfaction ratings from those using OutSystems to tackle the hard problems of core system modernization, complex workflows, mobile and web applications, and AI agents and agentic systems.
A recent G2 reviewer summarized the advantages of building on OutSystems with his 5-star rating: “This platform is easy to learn, and its visual interface makes reading code straightforward. It offers an aggressive time to market, allowing for rapid development. The process of building pages is designed with pixel-perfect precision and impressive speed. Additionally, there is a wide variety of community-contributed widgets that help accelerate development. Extending the platform is also simple.”
Other reviewers highlight “effortless deployments,” “intuitive innovation,” and “agility and value in record time.”
The “democratic voice of real software users”
The G2 Grid Winter 2026 is “the democratic voice of real software users.” G2 rates products from the low-code development platforms category algorithmically based on data sourced from product reviews shared by G2 users and data sourced from third parties.
G2 defines low-code development platforms as “environments for the rapid creation of custom and complex enterprise applications. These platforms enable developers and other technical & semi-technical teams to build custom full-stack applications from scratch, using a combination of drag and drop and custom code.”
To be included, platforms must:
- Provide environments to develop custom full-stack enterprise applications.
- Be designed for use by developers and other technical and semi-technical teams.
- Offer a visual UI builder.
- Integrate with production databases and software as a service (SaaS) providers.
- Allow developers to write custom frontend and backend code using modern programming languages.
- Support git-based source or version control by connecting to git providers.
- Offer out-of-the-box audit logging and observability.
The low code + AI advantage
In future G2 Grids for 2026, we’d like to see G2’s requirements for inclusion extend to the exploding number of AI coding and app gen tools hitting the market. AI has opened extraordinary possibilities, but it's also created a flood of ungoverned point solutions and experimental tools. Companies are struggling with a patchwork approach to innovation, and less than 10% of high-value AI use cases make it past the pilot phase.
Industry analysts and users agree that low-code platforms provide a stronger foundation for enterprise AI development, because they are designed for governance, security, and the full software lifecycle. As teams begin to integrate AI and agents into core processes, the speed and reusability that developers love about OutSystems are even more valuable.
That’s why we have embedded agentic and AI app gen capabilities directly into OutSystems, so enterprise teams can build with AI in a trusted environment. With Agent Workbench and Mentor, developers get the speed of innovation enterprises need, plus the security, governance, and performance that production systems demand.
What this means for your team
If you're evaluating low-code platforms, customer satisfaction should be at the top of your checklist, especially when thousands of verified users share their real experiences positively.
OutSystems empowers teams to deliver up to 10x faster without reskilling or hiring. That's what happens when you give existing teams a unified platform for the full software development lifecycle.
Our customers use OutSystems to support complex use cases with limitless integration. Your ERPs, CRMs, legacy systems, and all the data that lives in them? OutSystems works with what you have, extending your reach without disrupting what's already working.
The G2 Winter 2026 results confirm the incontrovertible truth: when you need to build applications and agents that drive real business impact, OutSystems is the platform that delivers. Not because we say so. Because thousands of users say so.
