Extended early access to Progressive Web Apps (PWAs) is now open! Last year we had made available to a number of customers a new way of distributing mobile apps, and today, we are opening it up to everyone. Announcing the General Availability of MABS 6.0
The new MABS version uses Android 10 (API level 29), iOS 13 and iOS WkWebview engine, allowing you to continue to submit your iOS apps to the App Store and your Android apps to the Play store. MABS 6.0 brings a new validator feature that reduces the feedback loop. It checks the required minimum version of supported plugins for MABS versions and generates a message in case of mismatched versions, saving you time and avoiding known issues.

Now, when creating and managing their permissions, you’ll find a redesigned users’ permissions page, which allows you, for example, to easily add a user to more than one team, and to easily understand which permissions exist in each environment and applications.

The latest OutSystems UI release comes with several improvements to Patterns, and with a new public action in the Utilities folder: “ScrollToElement.” This new action will allow you to scroll to a given element on the page automatically.
With scaffolding for Reactive Web Apps, creating List and Detail screens is even faster! Just drag an entity to any UI flow, and two new screens completed with working actions and validations will be ready to publish. Also, you can now easily populate Reactive Web Apps menus by simply dragging your screens to the menu block!
OutSystems.AI Chatbot and Language Analysis components are now supported in Reactive, allowing you to boost your user experience in the next generation of web applications. Quickly implement a chatbot in your applications and mix it with text and speech analysis to really take the communication with the customer to the next level!
Customization just got easier! With the new theme editor, you can quickly customize and create beautiful apps. You won’t need to go through multiple CSS tutorials to find out how to style your app anymore; now everything’s at the distance of a click!
A new update for OutSystems UI and OutSystems UI Web is out, containing several enhancements to UI Patterns! Those include changes to the Dropdown search behavior inside other patterns and improvements to the Wizard when using the IsVertical option combined with the UseTopLabel option.
