OutSystems Research Program
Terms and Conditions
This program is entitled OutSystems' Research Program, a Program carried out by OutSystems, as duly identified here (hereinafter referred to as "OutSystems").
1º
To whom is the Research Program addressed?
The products we develop at OutSystems are built with our users in mind, and we can only do that by giving them a voice.
The Research Program allows you and other users to share your thoughts, participate in research activities, and contribute to better product decisions.
- This Program is aimed at anyone over 18 to help us ensure our products are as valuable and accessible as possible (hereinafter "participants" or "audience"). You don't need any software development experience (or even technology, for that matter).
- The direct family members of employees or the employees of OutSystems themselves, as well as OutSystems out contractors, or all those who are objectively in a position to tamper with the course of the Program illegitimately, will not be admitted to this Program.
- Any participant who acts in bad faith and participates in the Program using false information, thus impairing the regulation of the Program, if identified, will be automatically excluded and banned from further registration in the Program.
- Any and all illicit action to obtain any competitive advantage in the course of this Program will be considered fraudulent, and OutSystems reserves the right to disqualify any participant whose actions fall under this article.
- OutSystems reserves the right to reject any applications for any reason in its sole discretion, including, without limitation, applications that are incomplete, incomprehensible, damaged, otherwise irregular, illegal, indecent, racist, defamatory, or harmful in any other way.
2º
How does the Research Program work?
OutSystems' Research Program was designed to help OutSystems shape its products with the needs and struggles of its users in mind.
By participating in OutSystems' research activities, you'll be helping us build a better product and improve the overall experience of OutSystems.
Through online surveys, one-on-one interviews, hands-on sessions, and user testing, you’ll get early access to new features, capabilities, and/or enhancements within OutSystems' products. You can provide valuable feedback to OutSystems for its product roadmap.
In return for your valuable input, you’ll receive a small thank-you gift from OutSystems right after each research activity, as described in clause 4 below.
- The first step to participate in the Research Program is to Sign up and select the type of research activities you wish to join in – you can choose to be invited for interviews, sessions to try the product and its new features, workshops, and/or surveys, and other activities which OutSystems may introduce in the future (hereinafter "Activities").
- You will also be asked to describe your relationship with OutSystems and technology. Finally, you will be asked to provide us with your curricular data and academic background, employment status, current job/role title, and years of working experience. These data help OutSystems direct you to the most suitable research activities and allow us to categorize you as a research participant.
- Once you fill in all the information requested by the Sign-up page, you will be directed to an identification form, where we will collect your first and last name and email address. These data are essential to invite you to participate in research activities.
- By applying to the Research Program, you agree to the possibility of being further contacted by OutSystems to participate in the Activities described above.
- Please note that your participation in the Research Program’s interviews, workshops, and sessions to try the product and its new features is voluntary and will be recorded by OutSystems through a video call or other recording methods.
- When participating in the Activities, you must always have your camera turned on and your facial expressions must be visible.
- Occasionally, OutSystems may invite you to participate in in-person activities, which will be duly identified in each invite.
- In case you decide to engage in a specific activity from the research program, you acknowledge your data will be collected and used by OutSystems for research purposes. Namely, OutSystems will use your inputs, feedback, and reactions to the experiences we introduce you to in the activities you decide to engage in to improve OutSystems' products and services.
3º
