Inventory
For Scapino for the inventory process we created a backoffice application, mobile application for Honeywell PDA and an API. In the backoffice users selects in a layered structure which products in stock of which array of stores need to be inventoried. Then an assignment is displayed in the mobile application at the chosen locations. Shop assistants carry out the assignment. Lastly, the outcome is collected through the API to be further processed. The benefits • Using multitenancy capabilities, only one application needed to be created for both the stores of Scapino and Ziengs Schoenen. The data are kept seperate, divided per tenant. • With this mobile application, barcodes are being scanned at a location and compared to the expected amounts in stock. Giving the opportunity to check stores on accuracy and to keep stock records up to date. • Through the offline capabilities of the OutSystems platform the inventory process can take place in storages without a good Wi-Fi connection.
